Application Guide – How to Apply UV DTF Transfers

  1. Clean the surface — wipe with isopropyl alcohol and let dry completely
  2. Peel the backing — carefully peel the transfer film from the backing sheet

  4. Remove the top film — slowly peel away the top layer, leaving the design on the surface

How to Apply DTF Transfers

Follow these steps for the best results with your DTF transfer:

1. PreheatPreheat your heat press to 300-325°F (150-165°C). Pre-press the garment for 3-5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
2. PositionPlace the DTF transfer face down on the garment. Make sure the design is centered and straight.
3. PressApply medium-firm pressure for 10-15 seconds. Use a Teflon sheet or parchment paper on top.
4. PeelWarm peel — wait about 5 seconds after pressing, then peel the film in one smooth, continuous motion.
5. Re-pressCover with parchment paper and press again for 5 seconds to ensure full adhesion.

Tips for Best Results

  • Use a heat press (not a household iron) for consistent results
  • Cotton and cotton-poly blends work best
  • Avoid pressing over seams or zippers
  • Wait 24 hours before washing
  • Wash inside out on cold, tumble dry low
