UV DTF transfers are the next-generation decoration solution that sticks directly to hard surfaces — no heat press required. Our UV DTF gang sheet service lets you pack multiple designs onto one sheet, cutting your cost per transfer while delivering stunning, full-color, 3D-textured prints that last.
Ideal for print shops, promotional product decorators, and custom merch creators looking to personalize cups, tumblers, water bottles, phone cases, laptops, keychains, and more.
UV DTF (Ultra Violet Direct-to-Film) transfers use UV-cured inks printed onto a special film. Unlike traditional DTF transfers, UV DTF transfers apply with no heat press — simply peel and stick onto any smooth, hard surface. They produce a raised, vivid, scratch-resistant print that looks and feels premium.
Best surfaces: Stainless steel, glass, plastic, ceramic, coated metal, acrylic. Not recommended for porous or heavily textured surfaces.

Follow these steps for the best results with your DTF transfer:
| Step | Instructions |
| 1. Preheat | Preheat your heat press to 300-325°F (150-165°C). Pre-press the garment for 3-5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles. |
| 2. Position | Place the DTF transfer face down on the garment. Make sure the design is centered and straight. |
| 3. Press | Apply medium-firm pressure for 10-15 seconds. Use a Teflon sheet or parchment paper on top. |
| 4. Peel | Warm peel — wait about 5 seconds after pressing, then peel the film in one smooth, continuous motion. |
| 5. Re-press | Cover with parchment paper and press again for 5 seconds to ensure full adhesion. |
What is DTF printing and how does it work?
DTF (Direct to Film) printing uses a special inkjet printer to print designs onto a PET film, which is then coated with adhesive powder and heat-pressed onto garments. It produces vibrant, full-color prints that are durable and long-lasting.
How durable are DTF prints?
DTF prints are extremely durable — they can withstand 50+ washes without cracking, peeling, or fading when properly applied and cared for. Always wash inside out on cold and tumble dry low.
Can I use DTF transfers on different fabrics?
Yes! DTF transfers work on cotton, polyester, cotton-poly blends, nylon, denim, and more. They work on both light and dark fabrics — no need for different transfer types.
What's the difference between DTF and screen printing?
DTF has no minimum order requirement and supports unlimited colors. Screen printing requires separate screens per color and has higher setup costs, but may be more cost-effective for very large runs of simple designs.
