How to Apply Your DTF Transfers
Step 1: Prepare Your Surface
Position your garment on the heat press. Use a lint roller to remove any dust or fibers from the pressing area. Pre-press the garment for 3-5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles. This ensures a clean, smooth surface for the best transfer adhesion.
Step 2: Position & Press the Transfer
Place your DTF transfer face-down on the garment. Cover with parchment paper or a Teflon sheet. Press at 300-325°F (150-165°C) for 10-15 seconds with medium-firm pressure. Every heat press is slightly different, so we recommend doing a test press first.
Step 3: Peel & Final Press
Our transfers are hot peel ready — peel the film immediately while still warm for best results. After peeling, place parchment paper over the design and press again for 5 seconds. This final press ensures maximum durability and a smooth, professional finish that lasts 75+ washes.
